After all, the main character of this show is the strongest magic user in his world and ends up with nine wives.

It is a classic isekai anime where the OP MC gathers a harem of waifus and goes on adventures. The only twist is that he actually ends up marrying his entire harem.

This is a reincarnation anime where the main character reincarnates himself. In the past, our MC was a very powerful mage who single handedly destroyed almost all demons.

But when he comes back to life, he finds that the world is full of demons who secretly control people.

But this time, he is not doing all the fighting alone. During his schooling period, he has gained a few female friends, with whom he will adventure to save the world.

The main character, with immense magical knowledge, will teach these girls how to use magic, form a party with them, and overcome the hardest hurdles there are.

Maken-Ki! Battling Venus

Our MC, Takeru Ohyama, is a simple boy and a big pervert. To his luck, he found a school that is co-ed and does not require entrance exams.

His dream comes true as he joins the school, but there are also plot twists that he never saw coming. The school was actually a place for combatants who used magical abilities.

But him not knowing magic is the least of his problems when the girls of the school start hating him for his perverted antics.

Redo of Healer

Redo of Healer is a notorious ecchi harem anime with magic from the year 2021.

This anime contains content that is suitable only for adults. If you want to avoid seeing any adult material, you should watch the censored version.

The protagonist of the story is a healer named Keyaru. Healers are typically given lenient treatment, but not in this man’s case.

Keyaru was broken mentally because of all the torture he had to go through. He came to the conclusion that the only way to avenge himself was to turn back the hands of time, and exact revenge on his wrongdoers.

Death March to the parallel world Rhapsody

This is a great anime with magic and harem that solely focuses on the slice-of-life aspect of things. That is, there is little action and more adventure and romantic harem moments.

This is a perfect show for those who are here only to see the girls fawning over the MC.

The anime unfolds at a very slow pace, and the OP MC hides his powers and never shows his full power through out the show. It was kind of a letdown for me, but you might end up liking it, so try giving this one a shot!

Arifureta

Now, if you’ve been reading my articles for a while, you would know that I include Arifureta in most of my lists. That is because the first season of the anime left a very good impression on me.

So once again, I’m going to recommend this show because it is easily one of the best anime with a magic and harem theme.

The MC of this show gets stuck in a dungeon, where he finds a vampire girl sealed there. They fall in love and embark on adventures together.

However, our MC is OP and looks like a badass, so he attracts several female companions who are willing to adventure with him.

The plot is much bigger, but I’m not going to bore you talking about it.

Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero

“Samon Syndrome” allows people to travel through parallel realms and retain the skills they gain there. If they can return to their original world, they will be able to use those powers.

Akatsuki, a renegade hero, travels back to his true planet with Miu, the demon king’s daughter from another world.

They attend Babel, a magic school for exceptional magicians.

However, the school’s innocence hides a deep mystery. Akatsuki and Miu must discover the secret and protect themselves from the underlying evil.

Rosario & Vampire

Rosario & Vampire is a classic anime in the harem and magic genre. The main character of this show is a human and is incapable of magic, but he studies in a school for monsters who are capable of doing so.

Even though he is weak, he becomes the center of attention for a harem of monster girls.

This anime is about the daily life of our MC and how the girls make their advances on him.

Demon King Daimao

This is one of those animes where the main character is a demon king. He is well versed in magic and has a harem of girls for himself because he is OP.

The anime starts with the MC in a school where he learns that he will become the future demon king. After that, it is about him being overpowered and encountering girls, fighting villains, etc.

Trinity Seven

There is not a single Harem fan who has not heard of High School DxD. It takes place in a high school setting and has magic, a harem, and a plot that is actually decent.

The main character of this anime is a perverted young man who has his wish granted at school because he is surrounded by beautiful demon girls. This all became possible for him because he got involved in the conflict between angels and demons.

Now he also has to play his part in this fantasy world he is dragged into. But that doesn’t stop him from having fun with the girls.

World’s Finest Assassin

If you’re looking for a magic anime with a cool and OP MC who has unintentionally gained a harem, this is the show for you!

The main character was the greatest assassin in his previous life, and he continues to be so after he gets reincarnated into a magical world.

Born into an assassin family, he has learned all the assassination techniques and magic skills that make him the strongest character in the anime.

Meanwhile, he also slowly builds up a harem for himself as he saves several girls throughout his adventure.

As the title suggests, the story is about the main characters who “try out” all sorts of species and review them.

The people in this anime visit various pleasure houses, and the main characters helps them choose the best monster girl to be with. Their exploits as they build their ratings lead to amusing moments.

Chivalry of a Failed Knight

Few individuals can construct formidable weapons from their souls. They are called “Blazers,” and they train at Hagun Academy to become Mage-Knights.

Ikki Kurogane is the only F-rated Blazer in the academy. When the academy’s lowest student discovers A-ranked Blazer and princess Stella Vermillion naked, she challenges him to a duel with severe stakes: the loser becomes the winner’s slave.

Ikki wins the fight and seeks to prove his might to a world that thinks he’s the weakest mage. Through out the series, he acquires new friends, wisdom, experience, and a harem.

My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!

This is a reverse harem anime set in a world with magic, but the MC does not wield magic. Our main character gets isekaied into her favorite dating sim game, but she is the villainess of the game.

Since she has played the game before, she knows the villainess is doomed if she does not take action to protect her.

So she starts to gain the trust of her schoolmates, but unintentionally creates a harem of boys (and girls) for herself. They are all romantically interested in her, and make advances on her.

This is a really funny anime series that does not have any ecchi or fanservice, but it is one of my most favorite anime on this list.

Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy

This is an underrated isekai anime with magic and harem theme. The main character of this show is terrifyingly overpowered. But he is also a very kind man, with mediocre looks.

After being abandoned by the very god that summoned him, the MC joins forces with monsters and builds a city.

He also tries to connect with the humans of that world, trade with them, and destroy the schemes of evil beings.

Not to mention, he instantly gets two hot waifus (a dragon and a spider) who are very loyal to him. As the series progresses, he gets enough female characters in his harem for this anime to be added to this list.

Gate

Here is an anime that I don’t talk about very often. This is an excellent isekai anime with a truly unique plot.

In this show, the main character is a part of Japan’s military, and he gains a harem of waifus from another magical world when Japan invades the said other world.

Aside from magic and the harem, I adore this anime for its plot and story progression. I can assure you that you will love this anime too because it is very unique and interesting.
