The story follows Izuku Midoriya, a 14-year-old typical high school student. Izuku Midoriya is also popular for his hero name, Deku. He grew up respecting All Might alongside his childhood friend Katsuki Bakugo. Unfortunately, he was born without special powers in a world where 80% of the population has them. As a result, aspirations he had to follow in All Might’s footsteps were shattered for him. Despite the fact that Deku still dreams of becoming a hero like All Might.
After attempting to save Bakugo from the hands of a villain despite having no powers, he becomes a hero. Due to his heroic actions, All Might thanked Deku for reminding him of what it means to be a hero. After that, he chooses Deku to become the successor of One For All. Finally, Deku enrolls in UA High School alongside his childhood friend, Bakugo. He joins class 1A with many other colorful characters.

The story of this film takes place after the Meta Liberation Army arc of the anime series. Deku and his friends travelled to Nabu Island to take part in a safety training programme. They will learn how to improve their skills, gain experience, and provide some heroic services as part of this programme. They meet Mahoro Shimano and her younger brother, Katsuma, on Nabu Island. Katsuma possesses a special quirk that allows him to heal anyone.
However, one of the most powerful villains, Nine, who was created experimentally by Daruma Ujiko, made his debut in this film. He has a fantastic quirk called “Weather Manipulation,” which allows him to control the weather. He used this power to launch powerful thunderstorms and tornadoes at his opponents. Nine also owns a copy of All for One’s quirk and is looking for eight more different quirks.
Nine reformed with a gang of villains to fulfil his dream of establishing a society in which only those with the most powerful quirks rule. After that, they attacked Nabu Island to steal the healing quirk of Katsuma. Now it’s up to Deku and his friends to protect Katsuma from the invincible villain, Nine at all costs. This film demonstrates how they deal with this hopeless situation in a very interesting way.
