This is one of the shows I really liked and without a doubt binge watch worthy anime during this quarantine.

3. Parasyte

Another anime which shares similarities with Tokyo Ghoul is Parasyte.

The story is based on creatures known as Parasites who need a host human to survive. Unfortunately, the protagonist finds himself in trouble when he becomes a victim of one of the parasites.

However, the parasite fails to take control of the brain thus the protagonist acquires the abilities of the parasite while retaining consciousness. Because of this, he becomes the center of attention to other hostile parasites who successfully managed to obtain a host.

4. Highschool of the Dead

This anime is a bizarre one because it has a horror and ecchi theme.

Sounds weird, right?

Highschool of the Dead is all about teenagers who find themselves surrounded by zombies thus sparking chaos within the school. The crew must remove every obstacle in their way for survival. Unusual in this situation, human’s desire grows to satisfy their needs before their death.

If you love gore anime, this is definitely the anime for you as you will get to see slashing and shooting a ton of stubborn zombies.
