Stars Align Season 2 Release Date & Renewal Status
When it comes to Hoshiai no Sora’s second season, we’ve got some good news and some bad news.
First, the good news. The director of the series, Kazuki Akane, is very interested in producing a sequel. He’s even written the story for the next season in advance.
Now, the bad news. Akane is not able to find any company to fund the production of Stars Align season 2.
While Akane is passionate, there aren’t many companies looking to invest in his story.
Regardless, many fans believe in the director and hope that he can pull off creating the long-awaited sequel.
It has already been 4 years since season one ended. But there’s still no update on the series’ future. This makes me think that we will not be getting a sequel any time soon.

Since they did an amazing job with the first season, we can expect the same studio to continue the series. However, depending on the director’s budget restraints, there is a chance that the project might get handed off to some other lesser known studio.
