Post-season completion, the production company have been silent about the show’s future. Clean Freak! Aoyama-Kun Season 2 remains unconfirmed or canceled. The manga author is equally tight-lipped. Fans hold onto hope for a renewal.
However, the debut season of the anime didn’t meet high ratings expectations. Because of this I don’t think there will be a sequel. Studio Hibari’s last TV series faced this issue, followed by a film release last year.

So, he plays hard only at the last five minutes. But this is enough to win most of the matches.
In the second season, we can expect the same premise to continue. We might see him facing newer, stronger opponents.
We will see the relationship between Aoyama and his teammates grow. Sadly, there will be no romance, despite several girls having a one sided crush on him.

Studio Hibari made the debut anime season, showcasing commendable animation. This studio is reknown for series like “Assassination Classroom,” “Classroom of the Elite,” and “Monster Musume.”
They are clearly an experienced company having made over 70+ anime titles so far.
If we get season 2 of Clean Freak! Aoyama-kun we can expect the same studio to contine the work. But take this with a grain of salt, because it is not official yet.

However, we are not sure if any other OTT platform will stream it in the future.

In conclusion, Aoyama kun season 2 is most likely cancelled. In the anime industry, if there has been no word for over 5 years, it must be understood that the project has been abandoned.
