Oresuki Season 2 Release Date & Status
As previously mentioned, the anime’s debut received a positive response, particularly due to its harem genre and fan service. At present, it holds a commendable 7.37 score on MyAnimeList, with over 324K viewers, ranking #486.
However, as of August 30, 2023, we do not have an official announcement of the second season’s release date.
The author has published seventeen LN volumes, providing ample source material for Oresuki Season 2. The show’s success and profit indicate its likely continuation. Fans eagerly await the sequel, possibly beginning production this year for a 2024 release.
Is There Enough Source Material For A Sequel?
Raukda and Buriki’, ‘s light novel, Oresuki, was first published with the help of ASCII Media Works. The light novel began on February 10, 2016, and is very popular in Japan, suggesting a potential English release in the future.
With a total of 17 volumes released, the 17th volume arrived on January 8, 2022, concluding the series. In Oresuki’s first anime season, only the first 5 volumes were adapted, leaving ample material for a new season.

Connect is a reputed Japanese animation studio that was established in 2012. They have animated only 25 anime so far, including titles such as Strike the Blood, Death March, and Senryuu Shoujo.
Considering the studio’s experience in producing harem and romance shows, they are the perfect fit for continuing the adaptation of Oresuki 2.
If the producers confirm the sequel to Ore wo Suki nano wa Omae dake ka yo, we can expect Studio Connect to continue the anime adaptation. That said, officials have not announced this at this point in time.
