The Xebec studio created this adult-oriented series that combines humor and the supernatural with Tadahiro Miura’s manga. Aniplex of America holds the license for this anime, which originally aired on various local networks like Tokyo MX, GYT, GTV, BS11, KBS, Sun TV, GBS, MTV, and AT-X.
The first season, running from July 14, 2018, to September 29, 2018, garnered significant attention upon its release. However, after approximately five years, there hasn’t been confirmation of a new season for Yuragi-sō no Yūna-san. Fans are eager to know if a second season is on the horizon. Yuuna And The Haunted Hot Springs Season 2: Relese Date & Renewal Status
Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs Season 1, with 12 episodes, debuted on July 14, 2018, and concluded on September 29 of the same year. Prior to Season 1’s release, Xebec launched the first of three original video animation (OVA) special episodes on July 4, 2018. The remaining two special episodes followed on December 4, 2018. Despite the series’ popularity, a second season has not yet been announced.
However, if you’re eager for more of Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs, we’ve got some not-so-exciting news. Anime series often take several years to get renewed. However, it has already been five years since the initial release. It has also been two years since the manga ended. But the renewal of Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs season 2 has not been announced.
The main reason for this delay is the dissolution of Xebec Studios, which was responsible for Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs series.
But wait, they dissolved and merged with Production I.G., an even bigger studio well known in the industry.
Even though there was plenty of time for Production I.G. to take over the adaptation, they did not. This suggests that we will not be getting season 2 of Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san anytime soon.
That said, the anime industry is notoriously unpredictable, and we can’t foresee the show’s fate until a new studio makes an official announcement regarding its future.

Is There Enough Source Material For Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san 2?
The good thing is, since Season 1 covered only a fraction of the manga, there’s an abundance of source material for a follow-up season.
The Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san manga started publishing on June 3, 2016 and ended on December 4, 2020. It has a total of 24 volumes and 209 chapters.
The English-translated version of the final volume dropped recently, on June 6, 2023.
The first season of the anime covered only around 30 chapters of the manga. This leaves us with more than enough source material for Yuuna And The Haunted Hot Springs season 2.
What Will Happen In Yuuna And The Haunted Hot Springs Season 2?
Fuyuzora Kogarashi possesses spiritual abilities and a lifelong fascination with ghosts. While this caused him difficulties, he’s adept at combating malevolent spirits. Currently, he’s homeless and yearning for a normal high school life. During his house hunt, he stumbles upon Yuragi-sou, an affordable wooden house with a haunted past due to a student’s spiritual demise.
Fuyuzora decides to stay anyway, drawn in by the attractive landlady. Amid enjoying the hot spring, he resolves to exorcise Yuuna, the 16-year-old ghost sharing his room. His intention shifts from harming her to helping her find peace, preventing her from becoming a malevolent spirit. As he bonds with Yuuna, other residents gradually reveal their hidden powers.
The season 2 of Yuuna And The Haunted Hot Springs will continue the hilarious daily lives of Fuyuzora and his ghost buddies. We can expect tons of exciting scenes and hilarious moments in the upcoming season.

Which Studio Will Animate Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san 2?
The first season of the Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san series was the work of Studio Xebec. They are a decently popular Japanese animation company that has been in the industry since 1995.
They’ve animated a total of 165 anime series so far, and they excel at creating ecchi series filled with juicy fanservice. However, the company dissolved in 2019 and merged with another studio. This is one of the main reason why Yuuna And The Haunted Hot Springs anime is not continuing.
So, at this point in time, we do not know which studio will take up the work to create a sequel to this supernatural ecchi series.
