Some have been loved by fans while others have been heavily criticized and disliked. He has his cool side, especially when he unconsciously toasts demons. But when he is conscious he gets all cowardly and shameless.

Zenitsu’s presence in the anime and manga was clearly for comedic relief, but he has somehow made the fans dislike him with his personality.

9. Daki

Daki is a major antagonist in Demon Slayer and the third most notable villain of the Entertainment District Arc.

As one of Muzan Kibutsuji’s Demon Slayers, Daki serves as one of his most loyal followers and follows his orders without question.

She is incredibly cruel and enjoys killing humans for fun. Her sadistic nature makes her widely despised by fans, who have gone so far as to call her outright evil.

8. Gyutaro

Gyutaro is the brother of Daki and was ranked among the top six of the twelve demon moons.

Just like his sister, he is also a cruel and merciless guy. What makes Demon slayer fans hate him more than his sister is his pettiness.

When he was a human, he lead a really poor and pathetic life. Because of this, he cannot stand the thought of other humans living a better life than what he had.

7. Kyogai

Kyogai is another despised character in Demon Slayer; he poses as a strong demon, when he is actually weak.

He has an incredible ability called “drumming” capable of killing or severely injuring anyone with a single blow.

He never shows mercy to those he despises, eagerly slaying them on sight without remorse.

Though his motives are understandable from a certain perspective, his actions still earn him the hate of many fans of Demon Slayer.

6. Rui

Rui is a major antagonist in Demon Slayer and one of the most hated characters in the series.

He is a powerful demon that wields part of Muzan Kibutsuji’s power and has a twisted, sadistic nature. He enjoys inflicting pain and suffering on others, particularly those weaker than himself.

With his fearsome power coupled with his cruelty and smug attitude, Rui easily stands out amongst even the other villains in Demon Slayer-and vastly earns the public’s hatred.

5. Muzan Kibutsuji

Muzan Kibutsuji is a 1,000-year-old demon and the most powerful of all demons. He is ruthless and cruel, using whatever means necessary to kill his opponents.

He manipulates those around him for his own evil ends, including enslaving and subjugating the demons under his influence.

Muzan is also extremely powerful, able to regenerate from any injury or defeat inflicted upon him.

4. Kaigaku

Kaigaku used to be a demon slayer who is familiar with Zenitsu as they trained together. However, when he ran into the upper rank one demon, he shamlessly surrendered.

He was then turned into a demon. Soon after the defeat of Daki and Gyutaro he was enlisted as one of the Upper rank demons.

Kaigaku is a self centred and rude man who covers up his spinelessness with his mouth.

His ego made him think that he was special than others, so he disrespected everyone that made Demon Slayer fans hate his character.

3. Enmu

Enmu is a low rank one demon who played the role of the main villain during the Mugen Train arc.

He is rotten to the core as a person as he enjoys the pain and sufferings of others. He even goes as far as giving his victims blissful dreams before torturing them.

Enmu loves the look of hoplessness and despair, and this makes him one of the most hated characters in Demon Slayer.

2. Hand Demon

Hand Demon was one of the very first demons to be introduced, and it was pure evil. It had killed several promising demon slayer candidates from Urokodaki’s tutelage.

Not to mention, he ambushed the candidates when they were not aware of him and devored them. He did all this because he hates Urokodaki for sealing him in the wisteria prison.

Hand Demon is one of the most hated Demon Slayer characters because he had killed  Sabito and Makomo, which emotionally scarred the viewers.

1. Doma

Doma, is easliy the most hated characters in Demon Slayer. He was once a kind and loving family man who was tricked into selling his soul and becoming Muzan Kibutsuji’s demon servant.

Doma is a two faced demon who tricks people into thinking he is a nice guy. When in fact he is actually a psycho that has no hint of humanity.

He has a long standing hatred for the Kocho family ever since he had to retreat from Kanae during his fight. He will always hate anyone who challenges Muzan or attempts to defy him.
