Vegeta is the prince of the warrior race of Saiyans, and he is the second main character of the Dragon Ball franchise. He starts as the main antagonist of the Saiyan Saga, but as the story progresses, he becomes one of the heroes of the Z Warriors. His Vegeta name is taken from the first six letters of the word “vegetable.”
Broly is the most potential saiyan in the Dragon Ball franchise. He is the only son of Paragus and lives on Planet Vampa. With his very first appearance in the latest “Dragon Ball Super Broly” movie, he gained a huge fan base. His name, Broly, is derived from the word “broccoli,” which is a well known super food.
Bardock is a saiyan warrior and the father of the series’s protagonist, Goku. He first appeared in the special episode “The Father of Goku” of Dragon Ball Z. His name, Bardock, is inspired by the name “Burdock,” which is a “Japanese root vegetable.”

Bikal is a warrior from Universe 2 and a member of Team Universe 2. His name, Bikal, is inspired by the dish Kalbi. Kalbi is a type of grilled dish in Korean cuisine. This dish is usually made with beef short ribs. 
Zirloin is a warrior from Universe 2, a member of Team Universe 2, and an attendant to the Kamikaze Fireballs. His name, Zirloin, is inspired by the dish Sirloin. Sirloin is the subprimal posterior to the short loin dish where the T-bone, porterhouse, and club steaks are cut.
Zarbuto is a warrior from Universe 2 and a member of Team Universe 2. He is also a Kamikaze Fireballs attendant. His name, Zarbuto, is inspired by the Zabuton dish. The zabuton is a highly marbled cut that is luscious when served by itself. However, it is enhanced by the mildly spicy and bright shishito pepper salsa.

8. Ginyu Force

The Ginyu Force is Frieza’s elite group of mercenaries who conquer planets as a part of his army.

Burter is the member of the Ginyu Force who has the greatest speed compared to all the other members. He is often nicknamed the “Blue Hurricane” because he often performs combo attacks with Jeice, such as the Purple Comet Hurricane. His personality is very rude and he always sees his opponents as weak. His name, Burter, is inspired by a pun on “butter.”
Guldo is the smallest and least physically powerful member of the Ginyu Force. He had an exceptional psychic ability that allowed him to stop time. This ability only works for a short period of time until he holds his breath. This seems to be one of the primary reasons he has attained membership in the Ginyu Force. Recoome is the most flamboyant member of the Ginyu Force. He is seen striking poses more often in battle than Captain Ginyu himself. His name, Recoome, is formed by rearranging the letters in the Japanese word Cooreme (kurīmu), meaning “cream“.
