The production companies haven’t announced the show’s renewal. Some internet sources say Season 2 might arrive in late 2024 or early 2025.
That said, given the performance of the first season, I’d say the chances of that happening are very slim. There is a good chance Iceblade Sorcerer 2 has been cancelled.
The show didn’t make much money, nor did it gain popularity among fans. So, there is a 90% chance that season 2 will not be released.

The Hyouken no Majutsushi anime is based on Nana Mikoshiba’s light novel of the same name. While the series also has a manga and regular novel adaptations, the anime adapts only the Light novel.
The LN started publication on July 2, 2020, and it is still going on. As of October 2023, there are a total of 7 volumes so far.

As of season 1, our main protagonist, Ray, is still weak and healing. While he managed to defeat the enemy in the first season, he wasn’t even the main villain.

Not to mention, his secret is out of the bag now. A whole bunch of his classmates know about his true identity. Season 2 might focus more on their relationship with Ray after knowing the truth.

Which Studio Will Animate The Next Season?
Cloud Hearts is one of the newly established anime companies in Japan. Having made its debut in 2021, the studio has only made a total of four series so far.
And one of them is the Iceblade Sorcerer series. While their work wasn’t exactly groundbreaking, they did a decent job. So, we can expect Cloud Hearts studio to continue the adaptation if the show is renewed.
However, we can’t say that for sure right now. We will only get the official news from the studio after confirmation of the sequel’s production.
