However, there has been no official announcement of Season 2’s release date.

This is because the production studio does not have enough source material for Dragon Goes House-Hunting Season 2. There are only three volumes of the manga left to adapt. Considering how the first season covered the first six volumes in one season, the pacing of the anime is a little too fast. This makes it unlikely that Signal.MD will greenlight another installment.

Even if they did, the best we are going to get are OVA episodes instead of a full-blown season.

However, if they decide to slow down the pace and adapt the side stories and skipped parts into anime, then a proper sequel to the series can be expected. But the chances of this happening are pretty low, so let’s not get too hopeful.

Unfortunately, there is not enough source material to create another 12 episode sequel to the series. The manga Dragon Goes House Hunting has a total of nine volumes, which comprise 38 Chapters in total.

The final chapter of Volume 8 was published on December 5, 2022, and the main story officially came to an end. Later, we got a spin-off series that got serialized from January 5, 2023, to May 2, 2023. This is the ninth volume.

The first season of the anime covered the first six Volumes of the manga. So, we only have three more volumes left, which is not enough for a 12-episode season. So, the best we can hope for is a few episodes of OVA to finish up the story.

That said, if the studio decides to slow down the pacing of the anime and adapt even the side stories, then there is a possibility of getting at least a 10-episode series.

Signal.MD is the studio that handled the first season of Dragon Goes House Hunting. They are not exactly popular, but their animation work is solid. The most popular show they’ve adapted is Recovery of an MMO Junkie, which is a comedy show just like Dragon Goes House Hunting.

If a second season or an OVA is announced, then we can surely expect Signal.MD to continue animating the series. After all, they’ve had a record of animating all the OVA episodes of the series they’ve worked on.
