As of August 2023, the release date of Cat Planet Cuties Season 2 has not been officially announced. Since it has been 13 years since the original release, I think it is obvious at this point that we will not be getting a sequel.
However, it is possible that the entire series will receive a renewal with a version remasterisée that starts the story over. Series like Hanako Kun lié aux toilettes and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure have such rebooted versions. This gives hope to fans.

Which Studio Will Animate Cat Planet Cuties Season 2?
Season one of the anime was the work of AIC PLUS+. They are an anime production studio that specializes in ecchi and harem themed stories. Their popular work includes Date A Live, which has several seasons.
However, the studio stopped working on anime production after 2014. This is why Date A Live’s newer seasons are handled by other studios. So, if we get a Cat Planet Cuties renewal, AIC Plus+ will most likely not work on it.
The sequel or rebooted version will probably be handed off to other popular ecchi-harem themed studios, like Production IMS.
