Shoji Sato has authored Japan’s manga series Triage X since 2009. The monthly Dragon Age published it. 26 Tankobon volumes and 24 Yen Press versions exist. Additionally, a special volume, “Triage X Tribute,” honors Sato, containing short stories by friends and the main characters. Studio Xebec’s Tokyo MX anime adaptation ran from April 8 to June 10, 2015, comprising ten episodes.
Triage X Season 2 Release Date & Status
Tokyo Max hasn’t confirmed the production of Triage X Season 2. It’s been over 8 years since Season 1 aired, and we have no news, which is concerning.
However, the ongoing manga implies fan interest, which is a good thing. Usually, if the manga continues to be popular after the anime adaptation, it will be renewed.
That said, renewal also depends on season one’s success, critics’ responses, and finances. Like most other Ecchi anime series, Triage X season 1 doesn’t have a good rating. The reviews from critics were mixed.
As of August 2023, no official studio announcement had been made about Season 2. Factors hint at a possible release due to ongoing manga excitement.

Even if it follows the same pace as season one, it will only be able to adapt until volume 20 of the manga. So, there is more than enough source material for a sequel.

Since the studio is a perfect fit for Triage X, I don’t see any reason why Studio Xebec will not handle the next season. While nothing is set in stone, Xebec will most likely continue animating the upcoming season of Triage X.

What Will Happen In Triage X Season 2?
Dr. Mochizuki’s crime-fighting organization, the Black Label, targets useless criminals in Triage X Season 1. Arashi Mikami, a survivor turned assassin, battles the Kabuto Group, Syringe, and others, striving for justice in a corrupt society.
Triage X Season 2’s storyline remains undisclosed; no official announcement has been made. Potential directions include continuing on from season one’s cliffhanger or introducing new characters and plotlines. New developments may uncover the Black Label and the “X” virus.
Since the first season ended with Volume 9 of the manga, we will most likely see the story of the 2nd season start with the 10th volume.
