La breve serie racconta la storia di un popolare gyaru che si innamora di un ragazzo che si scopre essere una ragazza.
Oosawa loves rock music, but her friends find her choice of music strange, which is why she doesn’t have anyone to share her love for rock music with.
At the record shop she sometimes goes to, there’s someone she can’t get her mind off. The guy is always wearing a mask and dresses head to toe in black. He even listens to the same type of music she loves.
But, she doesn’t realize that the guy she has a crush on is actually her classmate who sits right next to her, Koga-san.
Though Koga knows that Oosawa mistakes her for a boy, she just can’t find a way to tell her the truth.

She doesn’t have the best grades. She is very friendly, has many friends, and is very popular with the boys at school, but has no interest in them whatsoever. Some people think she’s too cold towards others.
She’s not usually interested in dating, but she ended up falling for Koga because of her sense of style and her taste in music.
Mitsuki Koga
Koga è nella stessa classe di Oosawa e si siede proprio accanto a lei. Adora le cose nere.
In school, she looks like a gloomy, boring girl because of her shy, quiet, and reserved personality. She works part-time at her uncle’s record shop and always wears a black mask while working.
Koga porta gli occhiali a scuola ma preferisce usare le lenti a contatto al lavoro per indossare più facilmente la maschera.
She doesn’t like wearing skirts and prefers to wear boy clothes.

I don’t remember his name, plus I don’t think his name has been mentioned yet. But, he is my favorite character in the manga.
He’s always concerned for his niece because she doesn’t have many friends. He’s really supportive of the possible relationship between Koga and Oosawa.
My Thoughts About ‘The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn’t a Guy at All’
Manga with gyaru girls are one of my favorites. Mix that with Girl’s love and you’ve got my attention.
The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn’t a Guy at all is one the best in the genre that I’ve read. No manga artist has the right to make their characters this hot/cute.
From the very first chapter, you can tell that it’s going to be a future diamond.
L'autore ha fatto un lavoro straordinario usando il colore giallo-verde in un manga altrimenti in bianco e nero. Lo sfondo verde era piuttosto groovy, e questa era la prima volta che vedevo qualcosa del genere. L'arte da sola rende questo manga indimenticabile.
La storia è una storia d'amore davvero carina e soffice con non troppo dramma. Di solito odio i malintesi inutili, ma questo, piuttosto che essere fastidioso, è davvero divertente e importante per la storia.
Le personalità dei personaggi sono adorabili e l'interazione tra loro è davvero carina. Oosawa diventa davvero imbarazzato e nervoso mentre parla con Koga.
Koga, d'altra parte, è così cool che finisce persino per guadagnarsi il soprannome di "Principe".
Anche il ritmo della storia è fantastico e nulla sembra affrettato o forzato.
Umorismo solido, grande romanticismo, arte straordinaria e yuri soffice. Amo tutto di questo manga.
