The anime world is constantly evolving, with new series coming and going every year. There’s always something new to check out, but when it comes to action, there are still some shows that manage to rise above the rest and deliver some of the best action around.

10. Saga of Tanya the Evil S2
It’s not every day you find an anime where a soul has arguments of life and duty with a god. The Saga of Tania the Evil is so good because it introduces some original elements into the isekai genre. A mysterious entity transports our main character to a fantasy world where he can speak with it.
The world is also far more grim and brutal than most isekai worlds, and our main character is far from a good guy. Have you ever seen her laugh? She looks like the daughter of Light Yagami rather than your average isekai psycho girl.
Season 2 is arriving this year and fans of Tanya can once again see her blasting ammo while flying into the sky.

09. Danmachi S4
Gods, dungeons, and adventures, there’s only one show that can give us all three, and that’s Danmachi. This show ran for three strong seasons, and that’s prove something. The animation and narrative quality improved dramatically over the seasons, and that battle with Asterius really set the bar high.
The fourth season will air in 2022, and if the production team follows the light novel, we can expect plenty of fights.
Season one shows the typical isekai, but season two raised the stakes, and season three presented something unique. So now you know what you should expect from season four.
08. Rising of the shield hero S2
The Rising of the Shield Hero reached new heights of popularity with the revenge center plot. The show’s first episode gave us a betrayal we never saw coming. The first arc showed how much Naofumi had changed from the innocent boy who landed on an isekai world.
Rising of The Shield Hero is one of those shows that twists the basic isekai formula to give us something amazing. Perhaps some other isekai can learn a lot from the show.
Season two will continue Naofumi journey, increase the story’s stakes, and perhaps add even more girls to his adventure party. By the way, fans are really looking forward to seeing Naofumi unlock the rage shield once again.

07. Arifureta S2
Arifureta is the big brother of The Shield Hero. Sure, our main character doesn’t carry a shield, but he underwent the same character arc as the Naofumi underwent in his story. Once again, we have a good guy becoming an anti-hero and then having a twisted version of the world while being accompanied by many girls.
Who is more powerful than they initially appear to be? Considering the hype that surrounds the second season, whether you like it or not, you can definitely tell that we’re going to get some great action sequences from the show.
Arifureta also has a fast-paced plot, so if you want to watch it all at once, then just wait until April and binge-watch it all in one go.
06. Devil is a Part Timer S2
Honestly, we never really thought that this one would be coming back. The first season of this show was released years ago and the return of a second season seemed heavily unlikely. But with the surge of popularity that this anime plus the light novel saw in recent times, we finally got the announcement for the second season.
The trailer looks really good and it seems like we’re going to get introduced to some new faces soon. The release date is set for July 2022. So that means that we’ve got a little bit to wait until we get to the middle of the year, and then we finally get to see our overpowered devil king return back, but I’m not complaining. The wait is most definitely going to be worth it.

05. Demon Slayer S2
Should I even go on about how popular this show is? The Mugen Train movie turned into one of the highest-grossing movies of 2020 and the highest-grossing anime movie of all time, so when the records are set that high, you know there’s gonna be tons of people waiting for the second season of this anime.
This time, we’re going to be moving on to the entertainment district arc where the Hashira Tengen Uzui will aid Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke to combat the demons in the Red Light District. It’s being animated by Ufotable, so I don’t need to remind you twice about the visuals.
This means that once again, we’re going to get a ton of new fights for a top 10 anime fight list, and I’m really looking forward to it. Season two has already started airing and you can watch the new season on Crunchyroll and Funimation.
04. Vinland Saga S2
The masterpiece is back. Wit Studio is returning once again with the second season of Vinland Saga, and this means that we’re going to get more Vikings, more brutal fights, and more farming.
Yep, only manga readers will understand that reference, but with the main driving force of the story Asheraddo has gone, how will the story keep up its hype. Will Thorfinn finally move on from his revenge mindset and actually start living for himself? Will we also get to see the repercussions of Asheraddo’s final actions? These are some questions that we might have in store for season two. Knowing how great the writing of this show is, I’m sure we’re going to get answers to all of these along with some great plot twists.
03. Attack On Titan S4 Part 2
No words are needed to explain the hype around the show, so I’ll go on to explain what we can expect from it. Now that Eren has finally turned into the villain of the series, we are left with the question of whether he’ll finally get a redemption arc or if he’ll become a full villain.
His goals are also left ambiguous, and based on the new trailer, it seems we’re going to finally get the answers we need. Attack on Titan is one of those shows that keeps twisting the regular shounen tropes upside down, so forget about that friendship always wins plot point because we’re going to get something that’s gonna blow our minds.
Season 4 has already started airing right now, and if you want to binge-watch all episodes, you have to wait till April 2022.

02. Bleach
How many fans of Bleach have counted the days to see our reaper return back to the tv screen? Honestly, how many years has it been since we last saw an episode of Bleach? Well, no point in doing the math because we’ve finally got something to be hyped about.
Bleach is returning and it’s going to blast off the anime audiences with its hype. We can finally see “The Thousand Year Blood War” arc on the big screen, and judging by the looks of the trailer, it seems like we can expect a new quality animation.
It’s great to see one of these big three shounen anime finally getting closer on the big screen and I’m really looking forward to seeing all these animated.
01. Chainsaw Man
Shounen hype, Makima is coming to the tv screen with these large hypnotic eyes. MAPPA is giving Chainsaw Man the Jujutsu Kaisen treatment. What more can a fan ask for? What’s really interesting is how MAPPA nailed the tone of this series with this trailer. It has honestly got this super creepy vibe, but it also promises some great action sequences.
Anyone who has read the story knows how many plot twists we can expect from this show and a bit of advice don’t get too attached to the characters. I’m sure someone is going to label this as a Game of Thrones type of anime, but I’m sure there are plenty of mystery and horror elements that will give this show a different nickname.
Considering how much the initial trailer of Chainsaw Man got popular, I’m sure that this one will be the next Attack on Titan for the anime fandom.
